Three CAD designers have joined Romsey-based Spaceway's rapidly growing design department.

Alastair Jupp, James Wylde and Phil Dawtrey have become key members of a team charged with turning customer ideas and concepts into fully prepared plans.

Working with the latest IT equipment and software, James, Alastair and Phil, under the direction of Design Engineer John Davis, have quickly established themselves as active members of the department, bringing their own ideas to the drive to satisfy customer requirements.

"Having the right hardware is only a small part of effective design," says John.

"What's really important is the ability to apply creative thinking to meet the needs of customers, and then turn ideas and concepts into concrete plans which deliver the most cost effective solution.

"By getting involved in projects as early as possible, we can quickly identify best way ahead - and that's bound to work to the advantage of our customers."
