A complete fit out of new purpose built offices for Engelmann & Buckham has ensured the company's 40 employees can now enjoy top of the range surroundings at the two-storey building in Alton. Spaceway, from Romsey, were called in at the design stage to help the company - which sells high quality capital plant, ancillary equipment and materials from overseas manufacturers - to make the most of the available space at their new premises. The new interiors took shape with everything from carpets to ceilings and lighting taken care of by Spaceway. Workstations, partitioning and furniture were supplied and installed for the 40-strong staff with mobile storage units providing a flexible approach to space saving. "Our old building had lots of small offices with staff spread out all over the place," explains Finance Director, Geoff Lennon. "The move has enabled us to consolidate our Sales team into one area with all Sales Directors in close proximity. "As one of the foremost marketing, sales and service organisations of its kind, we aim to blend modern business methods and innovative products with traditional values. Our sales and after sales support is a key component of our success and the bringing together of all staff will boost the existing service." "From the initial brief we worked with Engelmann & Buckham to tailor the design and space planning to the employees' needs," says Dominic O'Brien from Spaceway.
